Upon arrival in the early afternoon, check in at your homestay - home of the White HMong ethnic community. Enjoy some free time to stroll around the village, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and walk uphill visit Tiger Cave and Ham Rong Cliff—perfect spots for photos and to hear local legends. As the day winds down, relax in a hut overlooking the valley, where the golden sunset casts its glow over terraced fields—a peaceful moment to soak in authentic village life. After breakfast, set off on a 4-hour trek along village paths to explore Mong daily life. Depending on the season, you may join fruit picking, try crossbow shooting, or watch traditional crafts like forging, weaving, and flute making. Optional hands-on activities include rice planting, fishing, or crab catching for an authentic experience. 12:00 PM - Check out the homestay, bid farewell to your hosts, then transfer back to Dien Bien Phu city. Day 4: Flight back to Hanoi (B/L) Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.

2:30 PM - Land at Dien Bien Phu Airport, where you are welcomed by your professional tour guide and driver at the pickup lobby. Enjoy 10-minute drive to the city center with province's briefing information about the most visited spots, culture, traffic and safety.
Arrival at your hotel, check in and enjoy free time at leisure.
6:30 PM - BBQ and dinner at Thai village

6:30 AM – Transfer to Pha Din Pass
After breakfast at your hotel, drive for about 2 hours across the scenic Tang Quai Pass to Tuan Giao. The route winds past quiet villages, green valleys, and rice fields along mountain roads. Stop at a high pass for coffee or soft drinks, breathe the crisp mountain air, and, if the weather allows, admire the sea of clouds — a perfect photo spot. Arrive in Tuan Giao for some leisure time before lunch at a local restaurant.
1:00 PM - Continue to the summit of Pha Din Pass, at 1,650 meters above sea level. One of the “Four Great Passes” of Northwest Vietnam, its name means “Heaven and Earth,” symbolizing the meeting of sky and land. At the top, see a memorial plaque recalling the pass’s role in the 1954 Dien Bien Phu campaign. Savor a cozy dinner of traditional Mong dishes prepared by your hosts. Share stories over the meal, and, if you wish, enjoy a live performance of traditional dance and music (optional, extra charge).

Day 3: Back to Dien Bien Phu (B/L/D)
Begin the day with a refreshing forest walk — enjoy the cool air, take in the scenery, and capture photos. Return to your homestay for a hearty breakfast.

On the return journey, stop to visit the former Viet Minh Headquarters. Follow an 800-meter concrete path through hilly forest to the command post where General Vo Nguyen Giap and his staff directed the Dien Bien Phu campaign. Explore the underground tunnels—over 96 meters long—hand-dug by local people during the French War, connecting General Giap’s office with that of General Hoang Van Thai.
Arrive the city and check in at your hotel. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Enjoy free time at leisure.
Overnight in Dien Bien Phu.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast to energize you for the day ahead before setting out to explore the key historical sites of Dien Bien Phu.
Begin with Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum, which houses artifacts, photographs, and documents from the French War. Then continue to Hill A1 (Éliane 2), one of the five strategic hills that once defended the French headquarters.
